Based in St Albans, Verulam Cycling Club (VCC) is one of the oldest and most active sport cycling clubs in Hertfordshire, with over 500 members. We cater for serious club riders and competitive racers.

Among our activities are club rides, youth development, road racing, track racing, time-trials, cyclocross, sportives, audax, the occasional bit of mountain biking, plus training sessions, such as turbo and chain-gangs. We also organise social events throughout the year based at our Clubroom, Townsend Sports Club, in St Albans.

In addition, we sponsor the very successful Verulam Racing Team as well as help organise the Welwyn Track League, the Chiltern 100 Festival of Cycling and the Fete de Velo in Redbourn.

We have riders participating in the sport of cycling across a wide range of disciplines, ability levels and ages - from 6 to as young as you feel!
