Verulam Cycling Club

Members should be aware that the club has funds to assist any member who has an objective of achieving a specific cycling goal. Such an aim should be an objective over and above to regular cycle racing and perhaps might include riding in a National Championship or a long distance event which would require a significant expenditure.

 

The two main conditions are that the applicant should demonstrate firstly that participating in their event would be likely to bring recognition and prestige to the club.

And in addition that their intention is backed up by a long term plan showing the amount of time and commitment they are prepared to dedicate in order to have a chance of being successful.

 

The club can also assist in the preparation of such a plan so that anyone with a burning ambition to achieve a target is not limited by lack of funds or support.

Applications should be made to the committee for the resources they need to bring distinction to themselves and the club.
